pcdc

In July 2009, PCDC reorganized and streamlined its operations by incorporating its key business activities within other city agencies. As a result, the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) will now carryout all lending activity and the City of Philadelphia (City) through the Commerce Department will provide neighborhood commercial improvement and revitalization services.

If you are Interested in obtaining additional or new financing, please contact Susan Lowry, Director of Marketing, at PIDC for information regarding business-lending opportunities at 215.496.8161 or email slowry@pidc-pa.org.

If you need information regarding Technical Assistance and Commercial Corridor Management please call the City’s Client Service Hotline Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The number is 215.683.2100.

For additional assistance please visit the City’s online Business Service Center at www.phila.gov/business. This new service provides information for all services a business needs from the City including forms for filing taxes, obtaining licenses and permits.

Combined with a renewed focus on all businesses including minorities, women, and the disabled, the City is committed to doing everything possible to help you thrive and expand. We know that specifically supporting small businesses is the path the City must take to ensure all of our success.

We are excited and energized about the possibilities and hope you are as well.
